A great camp ground. The sites near the Mississippi River are outstanding. The view is wonderful. I recommend reservations. On a good day fishing is great. Numerous things to do in the area. No sewers hook ups at the camp sites. Great for bike riding. Bike paths to Savanna and Clinton and beyond. Shower houses are available and pit toilets. Camping prices are very reasonable. If you are over 62 get the senior pass.
Nice campground loop. Back in the woods a bit and quiet. The other loop is far more popular and catches a better breeze.
Not bad for an Illinois campground. Gets buggy and mosquitoes. It is usually quiet.
