Hialeah Executive Motel

This place is somewhat clean, and the check-in lady was polite and quick. The bed was extremely hard with uncomfortable pillows and terrible bedding. TV is decent quality, but most functions do not work because the internet architecture of the property cannot support even standard definition streaming. Shower was only luke-warm. I can sleep through almost anything, but the road noise was extremely loud until around midnight. Area is incredibly congested with few food choices. ||If you’re trying to save a few bucks and make a convenient stay over for the airport, just got up a little bit early and stay someplace else. I would not return here. |

Once you stay here, it becomes clearly apparent that anyone who has given this place more than one star is either an employee or a paid ratings improvement company. The amenities that they list is a work of fiction... my room had no WiFi, no kitchen, a non-functioning deadbolt, and I never saw a pool or hot tub. It is best compared to a cardboard box beside a very noisy street... at least the box would be ashamed to charge $85 a night.

They didn't find my reservation when I arrived, although I had a confirmed and paid reservation. After quite a few minutes a room was given me, however. The room was very basic, reasonably clean but very noisy. Also, the TV didn't work at all and the a/c blew very cold air and it was not adjustable. In the end, I had to turn it off because it was way too cold in the room.

Way too pricey for the area. At 6pm the meth heads and crack heads are walking the adjacent streets like zombies. Prostitution and drugs going on in about 3 different rooms while we were there - owner was told but basically he said they don't get involved. The area is dangerous and crime ridden. Tom Thumb gas station and mart next to the hotel.

Don't stay here ever! Overnighted here during a recent trip. The pics on the website are so different from how this place actually looked. It was a complete dump. This place looks like it wasn't updated since the 80s. The non-smoking room smelt smoky. The bathroom window couldn't lock. The bathroom doorknob was falling apart. The people at the front desk couldn't speak english. Thank goodness I know some Spanish. The people here were complete characters. Literally felt like I stepped into a crime hotzone. We didn't sleep a wink that night.
