I recently had the opportunity to visit Dixie Hotel while a friend was staying there, and I must say, it left a very positive impression. The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant experience from the moment we walked in. The lobby was clean and beautifully decorated, creating a cozy yet elegant ambiance. My friend mentioned that the rooms were spacious, well-maintained, and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The bed was particularly comfortable, making it easy for them to rest after a long day of travel. Additionally, the hotel's location is convenient, with easy access to local attractions and dining options. My friend also appreciated the complimentary breakfast, which offered a good variety of options and
Got there, the lady didn't speak much English. My Spanish is pretty rudimentary, but we figured out she had no idea what Orbitz was (where I reserved) Showed her the receipt on my phone, eventually she said ok.||||Got the keys. A really small room; open th door and fall into bed. A dorm fridge, bar sink, microwave with a few cupboards shoved in there. Small bath with no sink--had to use the bar sink out in the kitchenette area.||||On the bed, there's two towels, two full-size bars of bath soap, and two rolls of toilet paper. All of this made me think this is really more of a temporary housing situation, which happens to take overnight guests, than a hotel in the more conventional sense.||||Early the next morning, the person in the next room is having a conversation which comes throu
Very limited parking. Had to park on a dark street and could not see the car. Could hear what sounded like gunshots. All the homes in the area had bars on the windows with fenced in yards. Gentleman was polite but spoke broken English. It was hard to communicate. I had reservations and it was difficult to make them understand. I was told I could not stay because no rooms. Room was very small and smells bad. Roof leaks, could see mold on the rafters where the ceiling had fell. Buckets sitting in.middle of the hallway.
If you're just visiting or in transition to find a new place The Dixie hotel is good place to stay , everyone is respectful ,nice and all tenants and visitors doesn't make any noise , for the price I had a larger room and it was 1095.00. Lucy the Manager very sweet and Juan is awesome ppl get to know them there are very helpful
Good clean, safe place to stay while getting settled in Miami. No druggies or drunks are allowed. Lucy runs the place and is sweet as anything, but will not put with nonsense.
