Hatchie Cove Campground

As we near the end of our journey home from Connecticut, we stopped for a peaceful and quiet evening and night at Hatchie Cove Campground. This quaint little RV campground startup features only 7 spots and provides a range of complimentary amenities, including WiFi, free laundry, free on-tap beer, and free firewood, all situated on a working farm. The campground is conveniently located just off I-40, if you take their recommended exit and disregard the GPS instructions. We had the pleasure of getting to know our neighbor from Alaska, who built a fire, and we spent the evening socializing with her and her pets under the stars. I had a 2 month stay which was my 1st outing. We’d done all the arrangements online and text which worked out the best for me. Lots of shade. Unseen from the main road, not far off the highway and laundry was a huge plus for me. 7 sites $40/night and they continue to make upgrades for campers. If work pulls me in the area again I hope to be back.

Very nice and peaceful place! Also the owner and his dad were very helpful and made sure I had everything I needed every night or every other night. The bathroom was cleaned every time I used it. They also have free washes and dryers to wash our clothes and lockers to store your stuff like soap and towels. I Would recommend this place to anyone anytime and will definitely be back! Rustic little campground. Owners are very nice. FHU, Free laundry, Free firewood. Free wifi. No bathrooms or showers so you need to be fully contained. Only 7 spots, mostly level, quiet and wooded. We loved it.

We only stayed 1 night, passing through on our way home to Arkansas. We will definitely make a return trip. We loved that it felt like you are in the country, when actually it is just a few minutes from I-40. Free amenities include, laundry room, bathroom and shower, firewood, and beer on tap, all of that and full hook ups too. The price is amazing. It is well worth a visit.
