Days Inn by Wyndham Brownsville

We had a flat tire and as it was night so we were looking out for a place to stay overnight. The hotel is extremely clean and the staff is friendly. I met the Manager Mr. Patel he’s such a gentleman and very very helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The rooms were clean, beds comfortable, good water pressure but the bathtub fills up when you take a shower. The person at the front desk was not friendly at all, thus the 3 star rating. Okay for overnight stay.

It was a pleasant stay. The room was roomy, the bed was comfortable. There is several fast food restaurants near by. The only problem was the AC Unit it wasn't working well. But I would stay again.

This is an excellent choice for the price paid. I was able to smell the cleanliness in the sheets & the bathroom was also very clean. It appears that this hotel has been recently renovated & it did not disappoint. The bed was also ready comfortable.

😊: We chose this hotel purely as an overnight stop on our tour of the South and because we had discovered there was a Tina turner Museum in Brownsville as she grew up there. Although the hotel is out of town it turns out that the museum is on the same lot! The museum is really worth a visit, it’s part of the Delta Heritage Museum. They have relocated her school house from Nutbush and filled it with memorabilia. In particular they have Tina’s outfits from her last big tour, it’s an amazing collection. The hotel is typical of the brand with friendly staff and clean and comfortable rooms. While in town be sure to visit the world famous Helen’s BBQ where she cooks over a daily lit pit filled with beech wood, the potato salad is amazing too.
