Hartsville Motel

If you just need a cheap place to stay $45 for a single bed is a steal these days, but expect a neglected vintage property that is very dated and run down. No bed bugs in sight but might see a few roaches. The staff are friendly and no loud music or drug use so it's peaceful but again old and neglected.

Take your roach spray please..... I paid for 2 nights and left the first night. I have never seen so many roaches in a place of business like this. I did not and could not sleep... They wouldn't allow me to change rooms so I left..Not a good place to lay your head in comfort. The room was terrible... The fridge had rust on it....the bed and bedding was like 50 years old.... I could go on.........

I normally don't do reviews but when I saw the improvements in the hotel I had to. Pretty good place to stay we were in room 32 the owner is really friendly she was so nice I can tell they have awesome staff because the room was clean and smelled like baby powder 😂 I would have given 5stars but when another guest ask us if we knew where to find some hard (meaning crack) I kind of felt offended if I stay again I would hope that the short white guy upstairs is not there it's totally not cool to walk around asking people about stuff like that!!!! To the owners keep up the good work the improvements are wonderful and you made us feel welcome.....sorry it's so long

Roach infested, rude owner. You get what you pay for. $40 I advise you to come prepared with Raid because the roaches will kick you out of the room you paid for. I stayed here for almost 3 months and had to do my own extermination of my room.

I knew I was in for it when handed an actual key instead of key card . Both wash cloths look like haven't been washed in 2 months. Room needs some serious repairs and smells bad Like old mildew or dampness. Bed wasn't uncomfortable although I did sleep on top off cover as I was afraid there was need bugs from general cleanliness of room. Keep in mind this is a 40 dollar room but even for that you expect the room to be clean.
