Hardin Lodge Little Bighorn Battlefield I-90

Our stay was a bit strange. I am far from a neat freak, but (someone else's) hairs from shaving in our sink, a thick layer of dust in some places, and just general grime was pretty disappointing. Breakfast was disappointing - the coffee dispensers were empty, the dispenser labeled "hot water" had room-temp water, and the juice pitcher was moldy. We had some strange interactions with the hotel employee who checked us in. About 15 minutes after check-in, we received a call from him making sure things were ok, and he was right outside our window, seemingly listening in. Twenty minutes later, we received a call from the same man, saying he just wanted to make sure we knew there was a battlefield we could visit down the road. Positive: Nothing Negative: Room was dirty, hair on bedsheets, dead bugs. Breakfast was terrible. Whole place needs a remodel badly

Be-ware, Highly recommend staying at a different Hotel, we had to use Duct Tape to hold toilet seat to toilet, AC / Heater touch pad so used that it could be an electrical hazard, laminate flooring coming apart with much dirt in seams, refrigerator leaking so much water it got our clothing all wet, toilet paper holder with much rust just to name a few issues with our stay in July of 2025. Promised refund by manager that also said he escalated the refund but refund never came through. |Have photos to provide if interested.

I initially noticed some mixed reviews before booking, which made me a little unsure. However, my actual stay was much better than expected. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. I had a quiet and pleasant stay, and everything I needed was provided. Overall, my experience was positive, and I would consider staying here again.

Beware of this place! We had a terrible experience when we stayed here. At first, The front office seemed very nice and accommodating. However, we were charged extra for rooms that we’re on the bottom floor. We had people that were handicapped in our party, and so there was no way that we could have upstairs rooms where they initially put us, even after requesting that we’d be downstairs when we booked the place. Then, upon entering the room, we of course checked for bedbugs, I do that at every place that I stay at. The mattresses were disgusting! They were all stained with probably urine! I had to have the mattress turned over in order to even sleep on there! Then the sheets were disgusting! They were dingy and did not look clean at all!
