Harcourt Motel

The staff was rude when we went to check out i wad told that I had to pay a $20 deposit and I would get that back and when I went to get my money back the guy laughed at me and acted like he didn't know what i was talking about our room was not clean the toilet was about to fall through the floor. And this socks because in order to post this review you have to give them at least one star and honest to god they don't deserve that one star.

Rooms I’ve been in have been clean. The family who runs this motel are very nice and welcoming. There are many rooms with “long term” guests who live there, have never had an issue. I’ve been staying here every weekend for the past 4 months and I’ve enjoyed my stay every time.

The hotel staff themselves were very kind and attentive. However, this hotel is NOT for anyone who needs quiet to sleep or has a family- it turns into a night club and people are literally in the street throwing glasses and screaming every single night. No matter the night. Til around 4am. Other than that, quick walk to city center! Nice spot within walking distance to st. Stephen’s green.

We were working out of town and staying here. We had two rooms. One reeked like cat piss so bad you couldn’t bear to be in there. The shower took 5 minutes to get hot and stayed hot for two minutes before becoming ice cold. The shower In our other room was unusable as it sprayed water all over the entire bathroom out of the wall. The tv is attached to the light switch and had to reboot if you turned it off. There’s no plugs on the wall that the beds are on. The towels were all stained. The beds were dirty. The filthiest chair I’ve ever seen was here. It looked as if someone had become deceased whilst sitting there multiple times. This place is not for me. I would give zero stars if I could.

This place was a great room overall, definitely good for the price. The only issue we had was the lack of community wifi but other than that the place was good. Made some good memories with my family.
