2025 October. HAZARDOUS BREATHING CONDITIONS. Black mold in the heating and air conditioning unit. Mold and mildew in the carpet. |This alone is enough not to stay here. |I need to log onto the internet but when I tried to log on it would say accessing but never connect. ||The wiring was definitely up to code. ||The bathroom, it was impossible to close the door unless you got into the tub, it was so small. That can’t be up to code. ||The first floor hallway smell of mold and mildew as well. |I had to find other accommodations on the island and they didn’t provide any refund. |The photos are deceptively. There is no view of the water only a parking lot and busy noisy street. The location on Tripadvisor is incorrect too. They claimed led the post office for its location. It’s farther up

The hotel’s amenities are excellent, and its central location—within walking distance to the ferry, grocery store, downtown VH, and more—makes it perfect for any traveler. Harbor Landing spoiled me. I felt right at home-no more house rentals for me.

This is the worst place I have ever stayed! We stayed here on a timeshare exchange and traded a luxury hotel in Mexico for a complete dump! Our trade should have been for a 1 bedroom suite and we were given a king room. Hoping there was something better we pointed out that Interval was supposed to assign a larger room and were told they had nothing else available. The room was small, damp and musky and we could hear everything through the wall of the people next to us. Seriously, a cough or even them turning over in bed. The shower was cold and had no shampoo and when we asked for shampoo we were simply told they didn’t have shampoo. What???? I have been coming to Harbor Landing for years and highly recommend! The communal kitchen is so handy, as it's nice to have food on hand and not go out for every meal. We love doing cookouts on the patio with grills. You can't beat the location, being able to walk to shops, restaurants, the ferry, the bus stop, and a grocery store. The rooms are clean and cozy. They have put a lot of work into the property over the years, so it's only getting better!
