Happy Campers Campground

The good things about this campsite are the sites are huge. Lots of shade at the sites. The campground is super close to the river and easy to walk to. The staff were super nice. The negative things, it feels more like a trailer park than a campground. There are at least 7-8 sites out of all the sites that appear to be permanent residents. The vaulted toilets smell terrible. We walked out of our way to go the the port-a-potties. Recommendations to the campground: Invest the money in a proper bathroom and showering facility and your campground will be booked solid all year.

Great campground. Not very busy at all. We stayed a whole weekend on the electric sites. Although the sites were a little small, no one was next to us the whole weekend, so it was perfect. We have a camper that has a bathroom, but we tends not to use it If possible. No complaints about the valt toilets. Stayed clean, had air fresher to spray. Hand washing station with soap outside was very nice. We camped with 2 kids and they each got welcome bags with candy, coloring book, and a scavenger hunt. They LOVED it. Kids loved the playground, and the hills around to ride there bikes. Went tubing right across the street, it was great. Would come back again if camping in the area. I wish the campground would sell a smiley face sticker so I can put it on my camper.

Great spot for whatever you are looking for right on the river by the dam national Forest around. They are open all year we went in February

We camped for one night. Check in and access was easy to navigate. The campsite was clean.

Such a great place to camp owners are very patient with our group lol 👍🫵🔥it's rustic just like it should be camping and the people are great . Only place I like to camp . Except when it's raining lol 😂 .
