Hampton Inn Tappahannock

Front the time we walked in, we were greeted immediately by Beverly. She was so warm and friendly and welcomed is like we were celebrities. The holiday decor was so creative and cool! Shout out the lady who turned trash bags into bows on the Christmas tree! The breakfast set up was so well thought out and offered many choices for everyone! Woodrow did an awesome job setting up the breakfast and cooking! The hotel is clean and the rooms are nice and clean. Shout out the Manager Ty'na(sp?) who was very pleased to hear our feedback during our stay! The coffee in the lobby was always fresh and kept me happy lol. Thank you for making our home away from home during Christmas memorable! BEVERLY, WOODROW AND TY'NA you guys are angels!!!

Wonderful staff, prompt service. Rooms were cleaned fairly well, didn't have the greatest lighting though. Stayed here on business - and the only complaint was there was not a single shower that was close to being lukewarm for us. If you want to take a cold plunge, this is the place to do it. Left early enough to miss breakfast, but they DO offer a continental spread, which is always a plus when traveling. Pillows and bedspread were comfortable.

Just a quick overnight, found myself wishing it was a longer stay. Lobby area attractive and colorful and the rooms are large and very well designed--hooks for wet towels, good lighting, comfortable bed. Very pleasing modern design. Desk staff polite and helpful. Breakfast better than most hotels although coffee is universally weak at all of them! Provided shampoo etc also a cut above.

Positive: Nothing Negative: Girl at front desk did not know her job. She said she was new at however she should know her job.

The best group of hosts and housekeeping I have ever encountered in a hotel stay! Kudos to all of you! Knox, Beverly, Mia! Management, you are awesome, too, especially during the winter storm! Bless all of you!
