Staff very friendly and helpful and location is perfect to access anything in surrounding area. However, the building is far from soundproof!! The trains that go by every 20 minutes are deafening. Anyone walking and talking in the hallway sounds like they are in the room with you. If you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs or take a good dose of CBD- N to knock you out. The breakfast buffet has limited choices but enough for kids to choose from. The gym, if you feel the need to work out, has plenty of machines to play with. I found a stroll on the Riverwalk much more relaxing.
Front desk service was good. Check in and out was very easy and quick. Parking is good but spaces are tight so I wouldn’t park a car you love/like in the parking lot. The best way to describe the room and cleanliness of the room was I walked in and I wanted to walk back out and go home. Never again. I genuinely felt like this hotel was a short term shelter for locals based on what I observed. If you’re young and need a cheap room for the night/couple of hours, this hotel is for you. I would not recommend this hotel for anyone else. Would not recommend travel at night without someone.
Not recommended. At least 20 minutes to Newark Aiport by car, no shuttle bus.Very simple breakfast.Font Desk service is not good enough.
We just checked in, lobby was clean and staff at the desk was welcoming and polite. The room is clean including linens, and bathroom. The hallway has a slight marijauna odor. The bar selection was very limited. The pool was heated to a comfortable temperature, my kids enjoyed it. Towels were available and there were plenty of them. Being from out of state I didn’t know the area. The surrounding area is pretty rough. We didn’t leave after dark. We are here pre cruise, I would try and be closer to the port next time.
BEWARE OF SHADY PRACTICES GOING ON. I have stayed here before. Let me preface this by saying I am a medicinal cannabis smoker. I go outside like a normal guest. I do not vape. I do not smoke in hotels, ever. I know cannabis has an odor most do not like, so I go outside. That being said, I have ALREADY stayed here. So I know you can't smoke or vape in the rooms. Same criteria. No issues. I come home this week to a $250 SMOKERS FEE added to my bill. After confirming the charges with the management I have concluded that there's something very fishy and illegal about the timeline of events from when I checked in to when I went outside for my smoke to when the "smoking report / incident " occurred. Nothing matches what the front desk "manager SOFIA" explained . I am still livid they just cha
