Element Harrison - Newark

Our stay at this hotel was excellent. The location is unbeatable: right outside the door you’ll find the PATH station, which takes you to the World Trade Center area in just 20 minutes, with direct connections to several subway lines. The room was spacious, comfortable, and very well equipped, with impeccable cleanliness. The staff were always friendly and attentive, constantly making sure we felt at home. The included breakfast was very good, and in the evening, after a long and exhausting day exploring the city, it was wonderful to be able to have dinner at the hotel bar. The homemade food was delicious and the perfect way to end the day. We were absolutely delighted with our stay and recommend this hotel without hesitation. If I return to New York, I will definitely stay here again.

Loved every moment of my stay at the Element in Harrison. First off the staff were phenomenal. They allowed me to check into our room early after a very tiring red eye and train ride in. I was able to get some sleep while waiting for my mother to come in. Also, I was able to take advantage of the amazing breakfast! I grabbed some fresh scrambled eggs, chicken sausage, and potatoes. So delicious! They also had a plethora of breads and bagels as well as cereal and they had a cute build your own parfait bar with Chobani yogurt! Now to the rooms! My mom and I shared a two bedroom queen room. It was much larger in the photos than I thought it would be with tons of chill and wall around space. Carlos is amazing .He literally has the best of the best customer service and you will feel welcome. The staff is amazing as well. I have seen a review that mentioned staff is not the best . I stay here often and every experience is awesome. I have seen a few disgruntled people who you can tell this is just a way of life for them who have tried to give the staff grief. These people a lot of times. Do this in order to get free service and amenities at beautiful establishments Like this. Please do not let this stop you or discourage you from coming to this awesome location because you will be cheating yourself. I'm a very picky person and when I tell you this place always meets my picky lifestyle and ways it does. Again all staff is GREAT!!! HOWEVER Carlos is truly a rare special God Send.

Fantastic breakfast! Perfect spot near a subway station so you’re only 20 minutes to the financial district of manhattan (24/7)! Safe to walk around as the area is newly built.

Looking for reasonably priced accommodations a decent distance from NYC. Came upon this hotel when searching and was very glad I did. Hotel was very clean and provided plenty of space in the 2 queen room, with separate couch and kitchenette. Breakfast provided was one of the best I've had when travelling. Parking was included in our rate, and the garage was attached to the hotel. Even better, the PATH train to the WTC is literally attached, being just across the street, and only took ~15 minutes.
