Hampton Inn & Suites New Hartford

The only saving grace is the fact that Danielle was so nice and accommodating on arrival. That is where any positivity stops. The rooms were so so only because they were recently renovated. There was so much noise from other guests and construction in the building, we could barely fall asleep and stay asleep. We asked for a late checkout and the receptionist on the morning of 2/15 was extremely rude. She wouldn’t even give us her first name even when I asked. I hope management can figure out who it was. I would highly recommend against this hotel and stay at the quality inn where my son stayed. It was so much cleaner and more economical.

My stay at this hotel was very nice, the beds were comfortable. I feel like the only issue I typically have coming to a Hampton inn location is the inconsistency of the AC, the AC doesn’t stay on overnight and turns on and off which makes it hard to sleep when your a hot sleeper. The other thing to mention with a Hampton inn is their breakfast selection (hot wise) could be a lot better, the way the food looks is just unappealing. The Fruit that is provided seems dry and not really fresh. (Traveling abroad has ruined the experience because the breakfast selections are just so much better) also one morning there was no breakfast at all because to my knowledge the person had called out & the person working the front desk at the time did not want to prepare it. Title: $175 for 2 Hours? Diamond member — 75 nights this year. Asked for a 2 PM checkout because we had a hockey game later in the day and didn’t want to be stuck outside with our things. Hotel only offered noon or $175 to stay until 2:30. Nice property otherwise, but that policy is unreasonable. A couple extra hours for a loyal guest shouldn’t cost almost two hundred dollars.

I am a Hilton Diamond member with 75 nights already in 2025, and I was disappointed by my experience at this Hampton Inn & Suites. I requested a modest 2 PM checkout so my family and I could attend a hockey game later that afternoon without having to sit outside with our belongings. ||The hotel would only extend checkout to noon, and then quoted me $175 to stay until 2:30 PM.||As a frequent Hilton guest, I have always valued the consistency, recognition, and loyalty benefits that come with my status. This policy feels out of step with those standards. A 1–2 hour extension should be a simple courtesy, especially for a Diamond member, not treated as an excessive upcharge.||While the property itself is clean and comfortable, this experience left me questioning the value of my loyalty.
