Hampton Inn & Suites Lawton

Absolutely disgusting. Lifetime Diamond who has stayed at some pretty rotten Hilton properties like the HI in south Waco, TX. This is probably the worst by far. Tobacco smell so disgusting I actually gagged several times. Most disgusting, filthy carpet I have ever seen. Everything is worn and torn. No fridge. I am tolerant of just about everything and rarely do these kind of reviews but Hilton needs to shut these people down. Our military families deserve better. Entire town looks like a dump as well.

Positive: The price was decent & the room was very nice. We just had a few issues. Negative: The microwave did not work. We tried to warm leftovers and still after 6 minutes the food was not ready. The shower pull did not fully engage and was dripping water through the faucet.

No fault of the staff, but this was probably the worst room I've stayed in. Hotel is doing renovations, and it looked like my room was partially started. Shampoo and such pulled out of the shower walls, the shower doors barely moved and wanted to fall off track, the sink barely drained, the desk was legit bowed in the middle. There was no fridge in the room, holes in the wall where pictures had been taken down, remote wouldn't work for the TV. The quality of the staff was great and the other amenities were as they should be, was just sorely disappointed with the room.

Rooms were outdated- had cardboard from cases of beer under the dresser. Stains on sheets and towels. Had to request new of both. Tub was dirty, I cleaned it myself. Only reason it’s getting 2 stars was due to the fabulous breakfast woman and Gage at the front desk who has the patience of a saint. Walls are peeling, water was cold, had to request them to turn up the hot water in our room which the maintenance man did do quickly. Watched someone else check in, who had a reservation and was stuck on flights - they called to make sure the room was still held- woman at the front desk said it would be $70 for early check in, but only $40 if it was cash- the rooms were the same ones they initially booked- why did she charge them early check in when they had made reservations and were only a late
