Customer Reviews
I’ve always been a Marriott guy, so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect when booking a last-minute stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites Knightdale Raleigh. However, I was genuinely pleasantly surprised—||My suite was very spacious and comfortable, with shockingly comfy bedding! The bathroom was also very nice, with an array of toiletries and plenty of room to get ready—and clean!||The breakfast selection was excellent, with a wide variety of options: omelettes, breakfast potatoes, waffles with flavoured syrups and toppings, yogurt, fruit, bagels, muffins, multiple juices, coffee, several milk choices, and more. ||However, above all, the staff are what truly stood out:||Princess, the breakfast attendant, was genuinely kind and caring, going out of her way to check on me several times and makin
I canceled my reservation hours after booking on Trip.com. The room was released and I requested a refund from the hotel, they referred me to the booking app I used. My refund was refused. The property may be lovely or may be horrible, I don’t know. The site I booked with presented the reservation as cancelable so I chose this option. I have learned the app presents reservations as cancelable and buries the NON-refundable part in the fine print. Buyer beware and do not reserve with Trip.com if you want to stay here.
This hotel greatly exceeded our expectations. The rooms were spotless and huge! Our family of 4 had a king suite because the double queen rooms were sold out. They provided us a comfy roll away for our 11 year old son and our teen daughter had the pull out. Both slept great. Mattresses and pillows were very comfortable. The breakfast was huge and well stocked. It was also very clean and spacious. The hotel grounds were very pretty. The online pics don’t do this hotel justice. There’s also great shopping and restaurants within walking distance and it’s far enough off the freeway there’s no rod noise as it’s tucked back in a wooded area behind shopping and main roads.
We came to the Knightdale area to meet relatives on 1/8-1/12. We were greeted by a very special and pleasant young lady (Shakira), who was very helpful during our stay. Our room was clean, breakfast was very good and the location couldn’t have been better because any restaurant or shopping you are looking for is nearby. We had a very unexpected family emergency during our stay and the staff could not have been more accommodating.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (for everything except the bed) Lovely hotel, friendly staff, great location… but let’s talk about the bed. I’m fairly certain it was handcrafted from solid granite. Sleeping on it felt less like “resting” and more like “auditioning to be a fossil.” I woke up each morning unsure if I’d slept or simply laid there thinking about my life choices. If you enjoy a mattress that hugs you, this may not be your place. If you enjoy a mattress that challenges your spine and builds character, congratulations—you’ve found your sanctuary. Would absolutely stay again… just after bringing my own mattress topper and maybe a chiropractor. 😄
