Hampton Inn & Suites Greenfield

We've stayed here close to ten times now and always had a good, consistent experience. Friendly staff, never any issues. It's an older property do for some work, but it's well kept and clean, with numerous close options for dinner.

The staff is nice. We were not told, at time of booking, the hotel was service every other day. We would have chosen another place. And the thermostat has no ability to just run the fan for air/noise. For the price a very disappointing stay.

The hotel looks a bit dated, but it is very clean and has spatious, bright interiors. With the exception of the AC unit which looked beat up, our room was also very clean and cozy, with a full set of amenities. Elevators made scary screeching and clicking noises as they seemed to struggle up, but there is a nice saltwater indoor pool to relax in after a long day of hiking and a free breakfast buffet in the morning. Overall, a very positive experience.

Positive: Very well managed. Great location. Near Berkshire East Ski resort and situate at a historic town of Greenfield. The hotel offered hot soup in the evening for free. It is so nice for the skiers who came back from a tiring ski trip. Negative: Nothing

Pros: Location (close to skiing, grocery nextdoor), breakfast is well run, staff is very friendly, room was clean. Cons: The heat blows FREEZING cold air for 20 minutes before finally switching to heat. Temp in room would fluctuate between 67 and 72. It's quite uncomfortable. Also, there's also not a lot of sound deadening between rooms and the elevators make unnerving sounds.
