Hampton Inn & Suites Exmore - Eastern Shore

Stayed here while passing though We got settled in the room and the heat wasn’t working so great , I communicated with the staff at the hotel lobby and they immediately sent up a maintenance man who was very pleasant , but wasn’t able to fix the heating system in the room. They kindly upgraded our room. The room was excellent, ALL staff are very pleasant to interact with ! The breakfast included was good too ! If you’re ever passing through this is a great quiet location with wonderful staff !

We have felt for some time that the Hamptons are going downhill and showing signs of age. Hopefully we this Hampton is the rock bottom. |This hotel is long overdue for a remodel. The toilet had brown stains in the bottom, the shower had visible mold and mildew all over it, the carpets had uncleaned pet stains (we did not take our shoes off), the blackout blinds were worn through. In addition the food at the breakfast was unfit to eat. The omelets were burnt, the cutup hot dogs were slimy and the potatoes were raw. There were no hard boiled eggs and very little fruit. Finally the breakfast room attendant was petting and making over a pet dog that was in the breakfast area (which IMO should not have been there) and we did not observe her washing or sanitizing her hands afterward.

The Hampton Inn Exmore is a very well-run hotel. Everything is clean and welcoming. I even got hotel room upgrade to a very spacious room with two queen sized beds, a couch, desk, and multiple chairs. The breakfast was an ordinary hotel breakfast, but I still enjoyed it. There’s also a fitness center and outdoor pool. Overall, this is a high quality, inexpensive Hampton.

Positive: Front desk staff was great. Breakfast was on point and dining area was clean and welcoming. Negative: Room was gross. Stain on lamp shade looked like puke. Pillows didn?t have liners and could see all the stains from other people. Patch work on walls and bathroom floor looked like entry-level work. Not enough surface area for luggage in room. Beds small.

Suite was clean and comfortable and was just what we needed after a long drive. Yvette at the front desk was friendly and hospitable and made us feel welcome! Every staff member was professional and friendly.
