Hampton Inn & Suites Baltimore/Woodlawn

This place has gone so far downhill. It’s about the 6th time we’ve stayed there. My sister in law lives about 3 miles from there. We were in town for a death in the family. The floors were dirty. The water didn’t get warm in the shower. We had to stick our finger into the hole to push the elevator button on the second floor. The coffee was cold.

The hotel was clean staff was ok, room was lacking shampoo , conditioner, soap, they were empty, had to travel for dinner. Set off a main road, so it was quiet. Breakfast would have been good but we had to go early. The price was right but would probably choose somewhere else next time

Positive: I liked the hot food o on the breakfast buffet Negative: I did not like the bed linen, the comforter was old and raggedy and the pillows was flat and dull. I expected better quality for the price of the rooms

It is maybe 2.5 star. I had paid a little extra so my room was larger than others. Lobby near elevators needs updated . It looked pretty worn. The room I had a lot of loose gadgets. The rings that hold bar in tub was loose. Toilet holder would pop off if not careful. One of the towel holders on bathroom door also popped off . They could be put back but the ding of metal on floor was startling. The staff was friendly enough but not overly energetic.

I stayed here in November 2024 it was awesome. Now I just stayed here this week again. It was a wonderful stay. The only thing that bothered me was when I asked for room service to clean my room on my second day they did not show up to 7:15pm. Then it was to late to change the bed. But overall my stay was awesome again the staff is friendly and helpful. The pool was awesome. And the rooms are clean and big. So using the Hilton app is a real good addition I used my digital key and using the remote on my phone. When I come back to do more courses I will be back there to stay.
