Hampton Inn Stony Creek/Petersburg Area

Lovely place while traveling. Clean, joyful decor with a very good breakfast. My husband and I have to maintain a gluten free diet and there were eggs, sausage and potatoes for us! Those with celiac would want to ask about cross contamination. It was refreshing to stay in a place so clean and well kept! And they provided free bottled water!

Close to the highway if you're traveling. The door didn't close all the way but we managed to put a suitcase in front of it and it was fine. The room otherwise was nice. There as a strange lingering smell in the halls and elevator, but it wasn't present in the room. Breakfast as so-so. The staff though were all very friendly and helpful!

Jaqueline checked us in on Oct 22 and she was so helpful. I couldn't turn on the TV with remote and she came to the room and got it working. Room was excellent and very updated. We left before breakfast. Definitely recommend this place to all.

Checked in and the first room was not even touched from a person before it. We got another room and it was noticeably dirty. This hotel obviously doesn’t take cleaning seriously. We did not even stay to eat breakfast the next morning, could not trust what we were going to see.
