Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Stony Creek

This place was so disgusting. The entire "hotel" smelled like a public bathroom. Once you reach the hotel room floors, it smells like urine masked with cleaning solution. The smell is so strong I felt sick. The bathroom floors were sticky and I didn't feel comfortable even touching anything. I tried two rooms on two separate floors before deciding to leave. I am in total disbelief that it has received such positive reviews. It was so bad that I arrived during a snow storm in the late afternoon and left within an hour of arriving, unsure of where I was going to go. I could not imagine sleeping there and I do not regret leaving. I just got word they will not be refunding me. I urge you to drive a little further to find better, even less expensive hotels. I will be disputing the charges.

Clean, Safe & Quiet! Melanie was phenomenal and a breath of fresh air when checking in after a long day of driving! My husband and I stopped here for the first time & so happy we did. We sincerely appreciate the cleanliness and quietness of the hotel & room! we will be returning and referring our friends to this location! Thank you again!!

Just needed a quick overnight stay while road-tripping. We arrived late but check-in was quick and easy. Staff were pleasant. The hotel had a pretty good breakfast the next morning- eggs, waffles, bacon, etc Pretty good options. The room was clean for the most part. The microwave and fridge needed some TLC but nothing bizarre. Overall, my stay was good and got some sleep to recharge. The room was spacious and right off I-95. I’d come visit again for the next road trip.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. We arrived very early in the morning due to a last-minute road trip detour when our 2-year-old got sick in the car, and the staff could not have been more kind or accommodating. They got us into a room immediately and genuinely went above and beyond to help during a stressful moment. The room was spotless, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and it was exactly what our family needed after a long drive. Breakfast was also excellent - our two young kids loved everything, especially the waffles and sausage. Truly outstanding service and hospitality. We’re so grateful and would absolutely stay here again.
