had a fantastic stay at the Hampton Inn Los Angeles/West Covina. The hotel offers a great mix of comfort, convenience, and value. Serious Safety and Service Issues – Not What I Expect From Hilton My husband and I stayed here using his Diamond account, and the experience was troubling enough that I feel obligated to warn other travelers, especially families. 1. Noise & A Sleepless Night We specifically requested a “quiet room” in our reservation note because we had an 8‑hour drive ahead during a winter storm. Despite this, we were placed on the 1st floor next to a heavy exit door that slammed loudly starting at 4:00 AM. At 5:35 AM, I went to the lobby to ask for earplugs or a room change. The night auditor appeared to be dozing and was initially unresponsive. The room was clean and met the usual Hampton standard, with a comfortable bed and a TV offering a good range of channels. Breakfast was good and well stocked, with plentiful coffee and very friendly staff. Although I found the road a little noisy in the room (even after being given a quieter room at check-in on request), the location was very convenient for travelers like us, as it’s just off the freeway. This Hampton is right next to the Jollibee building! A must-go for all Filipinos! The front desk staff were so sweet, breakfast was delicious as it always is at Hampton, and well managed. The rooms are modern and the showers have great water pressure. This is also a quiet location, we didn't hear any of the other guests all night despite our room being next to the elevator. Great sound proofing on the walls, I was worried I'd hear suitcases rolling into the elevator all night but I slept like a baby!
