Hampton Inn Las Vegas/Summerlin

Horrible freeway noise all day and night. Hotel is right next to a busy freeway without a sound barrier. Location is close to 2 soccer complexs that we were in town to go to...... watching grandsons team. Rooms were great, clean, modern and breakfast was good, but we lost sleep because of that highway noise.

This hotel was very clean- I noticed how clean it looked and smelled as soon as I walked into the room. Bed was comfortable. Plenty of towels provided. Very quiet as well. The complimentary breakfast was good with plenty of variety. Would definitely stay here again.

Positive: I like being able to get a good cup of coffee and some breakfast without having to leave the hotel. Negative: I know this might be petty, but there were no cups in the room, nor a notepad and pen to jot down info.

The service was friendly and accommodating. Everyone from the front desk to the housekeepers were welcoming. The rooms were spotless, and Gabby and Diana (?) had the the breakfast buffet running well with hot, freshly cooked food. One of the best places we’ve stayed when traveling.

We stayed here in September and again this week. The hotel is close to family and convenient when we visit. In September. Heck-in and our 2 night stay went well. This week we again used the digital check-in. The app would not unlock our door. Went to the front desk and it was reset, but also got a key card. App still did not work. Key card also did not work. Back to the desk. No apology. Clerk called for maintenance to meet us. As I walked back to the room another employee called for me to tell me to lift the door handle up not down. She and maintenance met us at the room and that worked. I asked why we were not told at the desk we needed to do that (other rooms open down or up). Next day app still is not working. Went to desk as was asked to try the fitness center. It worked.
