Hampton Inn Grand Island

The rooms and everything at this hotel are just about to undergo extensive renovations - but I like the older furnishings - oh well. All team members I encountered impeccably embodied hospitality - I hope that doesn't get renovated away! My one night stay turned out really restful, relaxing, and refreshing.

Positive: Hotel was clean. Just an older hotel but everything worked as expected. Breakfast was lackluster, used powdered eggs but they had the carbs out for sure. I will stay there again. Pleasant staff, coffee was always on, bed was comfortable and clean. Negative: ""

I do not like cigarette/cigar smoke. I don't own, but I do love dogs. I don't want my hotel room to smell like either of these. First room smelled like a kennel after the dogs had all gone swimming. The front desk staff offered us a second room that had the 'ozone'/cleaner smell - that smell wore off and then it just smelled like smoke.|The hotel does not appear to have been updated/renovated in some time based on the appearance of the common areas, carpets, and furniture.

A great place to rest, refresh, and enjoy reliable quality every time.

This experience taught me to google the hotel before I book. The threshold between the hallway and door was missing. The bathroom sink had hair in it and was clearly not cleaned. The bedskirt had a nasty stain on it. The room was dated. The ceiling had water stains, the wall paint was several shades of yellow. The room was expensive for the condition. I have never been so disappointed in a Hilton property.
