Hampton Inn Garden City Long Island

I would say that overall stay was very good. The room was specious for a family of five and there was enough space to accommodate five people. Cleanliness was altogether fine but hotel might need to think about steam cleaning of carpets. Breakfast was great with several options and serving staff was excellent there to make your stay enjoyable. I would specially say that “Saleema” was very helpful always! Other staff members were also great. Check in and check out was simple and fast. Hotel has private parking with reasonable charges! Would love to stay again and fully recommend to families to stay there to make your trip enjoyable!

Now they charge for parking.the breakfast has gone down hill. The staff at the front desk are very nice . They must be under new management. I stayed here before and loved them. As a diamond member and not really getting much in the USA . When you leave the country you get great breakfast and executive lounge with drinks and food.

Stayed here twice in the last 60 days. Tucked at the end of a dead end road near a shopping area. Lots of parking, which is $10/day. It's pretty quiet outside at night and had no concerns. There's also a place out back to chill out with tables and chairs. Decent hot breakfast, or fruit, including bananas (which I like). Room was excellent with microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker. Wifi worked fine. Walmart and Lowe's are right around the corner, which I needed for my job while there. Whole Foods and Hobby Lobby are within walking distance. Very nice staff morning to night. Even the maintenance staff were super nice the few times I came across them while in the elevator. HVAC worked great as I like it to be 69° at night, but warmer while I'm awake. Me and my boyfriend checked into the hotel on Saturday November 22nd . When we arrived into the room it was very cold . We notified the front desk , and they said to turn the thermostat up. So we turned it up high and it felt like the air conditioner was on. We were cold the entire night .The next time I visit from Maryland , I definitely won’t be staying at this particular hotel.

Large room. It’s good when the AC is off. The housekeeping skipped cleaning my room. Frontdesk did not give elite member welcome gift. Breakfast was very very basic. I asked about laundry service. The first time they told me they don’t have it on Saturday. The second time they told me it’s sold out 🤷‍♂️ They said they would get back to me later but that did not happen.
