Hampton Inn Fort Lauderdale Pompano Beach

Our experience at this hotel was very nice. The hotel has ample parking (daily fee charged), has seven floors, a nice heated pool, and adequate exercise room. It also provided a convenient and free breakfast, albeit the food area and selection are somewhat smaller than other Hampton Inns stays. Some items such as bananas, oranges, and muffins were not available towards the end portion of our stay. The woman taken care of the breakfast area was constantly busy and did a great job. The hotel floors can be accessed by elevator (only one of the two were functioning during our stay) and stairways. Our room was nice and comfortable. The hair conditioner container was empty and we were given small containers of conditioner when asked at the desk, which made it a non-issue. We had selected

OMG — this place is CLEAN, and we truly mean it! We travel often and have noticed that since COVID, it’s actually been harder to find places that maintain high cleanliness standards. You would think public establishments would have increased their efforts — but that hasn’t always been our experience. Thankfully, this hotel is the exception! We originally found this hotel because we have family who live nearby. We actually used to live in the area many years ago and remember when they were building the property, but we never stayed here since we had our own home close by at the time. Now that we visit family at least once a month, this has become our go-to place. It’s convenient, consistently spotless, and the staff is incredibly friendly. So I guess Hilton has now moved there concessions to a third party and won’t charge anything to the room, kinda shocking. Apparently the elevator has either been out of service for a few weeks or keeps breaking down because only one was working and others have mentioned it in previous posts. The breakfast was the normal Continental that is to be expected so no big deal. The water pressure was definitely below average. The guy at check in was fine but the lady at the desk the second night said you only get 2 bottles of water at check in when I asked for some. The lady at the counter on check out was fine. Really nothing special about the place just an average hotel but slightly below what I’d expect from Hilton. I see some of the reviews in the past few weeks and I’d definitely say they are

We absolutely loved this hotel! We stayed both before and after our cruise with several family members and booked a total of six rooms. The entire property was impeccably clean, and our rooms were spotless. The breakfast selection was excellent. Since it’s a Hampton by Hilton, we weren’t expecting a fancy à la carte menu — but we were pleasantly surprised by the variety. They offered hot breakfast items that changed daily, a great selection of juices and cereals, different waffle flavors, yogurt, fresh fruits and fruit salads, a variety of breads and bagels, plus multiple protein and egg options.
