I struggled whether to give them two or three stars but decided on two based on the housekeeping. We stayed for multiple nights and didn't have housekeeping clean our room, change our towels, refill the coffee & cups or even empty our trash cans. Having a clean room, clean towels and sheets is very important to us when staying in a hotel. The sign in the room stated housekeeping is every other day. Guess that is a guide line not a rule. The room was oddly laid out, a lot of wasted unused space. One round table and one chair in the middle of the room. The TV wasn't secured to the wall bracket, it was basically falling off the bracket. We opted not to even touch it, afraid it might would fall and we'd get charged for breaking it. The mattress wasn't very comfortable. The WIFI in the room di
For 5 nights stay costing over 1K - the room should have been nicer, fitted sheet should have atleast FIT, no place to put our clothes. (We had to stack them on top of the tv stand…)
Positive: Location was very convenient for why we were in Foley. Negative: We went down to breakfast right after LSUM women's soccer team. Food was completely wiped out and all tables taken, many of the tables had one person. After 30 minutes the food was replenished, the team was finished eating but still held all of the tables
Convenient location for our needs. Hotel feels new thanks to good maintenance and housekeeping. The included breakfast was exactly as good as every Hampton Inn I've stayed in. For my money, Hampton Inns and Holiday Inn Expresses are the 2 most consistently good hotel chains. If I have a choice between the two, I always choose Hampton Inn because I like waffles better than pancakes 🤣 . We do travel a good bit in retirement, spending 60 - 80 nights a year in hotels, so again, Hampton Inn is our first choice and HIE a close second.
Positive: Breakfast Negative: Housekeeping 👎🏼 asked 2 out of 4 days for clean wash clothes. Was told by housekeeping to get at the front desk (same housekeeper) trash was never taken out room was never cleaned
