Hampton Inn Derby Wichita Southeast

The hotel is very clean both the room and the common areas and hallways. The staff were friendly and helpful and willing to share information about the area. Our room was on the first floor and the flood lights outside were rather bright and the blackout shades didn’t completely stop the lights. I would prefer a darker room but it is a personal preference. If we are in the area again I would definitely stay here again. ☕️ Coffee is important in our morning and the coffee bar was perfect 🤩. The food in the breakfast area was decent (hot lamp eggs 🧐. I always like the hot pancakes. 🥞 We had several family members staying and I think we all agreed that it was just fine.

My daughter stayed there because of Domestic Violence. When she went up to the front to check out and talk to the manager. The manager went off on her. What type of person goes off on a Domestic Violence Victim? And he accused her of something she did not do. He is very rude and hateful!!!!!!! I have made a complaint to the corporate office against him. Because when I called up there to talk to him about it, he hung up on me.Without talking to me. And when I called again, he answered the phone and said I know who you are, I have all of your information. And if you call again, I will be calling the police. For one, he did not know who I was because I did not give my name. The only thing he might have had is my phone number. And kind of impossible to have all of my information if you do not

The staff was amazing and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Thry just did a remodel and unfortunately cut a lot of corners. The lighting in the room was very dim ( they need to take notes from holiday inn express) the shower was small but functional. Would have liked it bigger with a hand held shower head. We will definitely stay here again just wish management would have put a little more care into the remodel.

This is a wonderful place and I can't recommend it more highly. Brooke, Bailey, Kennedy, and Donna paid great attention to detail were friendly and accommodating. Everyone treated our dog beautifully and I can't wait till we make a return trip to this. Hampton.

For me the hotel was the perfect location to where I was going in Derby. Area was very nice and hotel was extremely clean with a wonderful breakfast. We did not realize until the next morning the window had a shade to pull down over the blinds. It had been rolled up all the way and not visible under the valance so our room was very light all thru the night! We would return to this location if in the area and knowing there is a shade to pull down would have a much darker room like we prefer!
