Hampton Inn Daytona Beach/Beachfront

The good. Pool was great. Breakfast was also very good. Most of staff personal interactions were very positive. Lobby cleaned well. Private decks with great view of ocean. The bad. Lobby coffee was cold in evening, needed to be microwaved in the evening. (Fresh hot coffee was brought out around 8 PM or so. ) There was no drinking water available in lobby area other than buying bottled water after the breakfast area was closed.. The rooms were not attended to daily. Only notice on this was a small note on mirror in the bathroom. Rear entrance is through tiki bar and is not wheelchair accessible as ramp ends with 2 stairs to climb.. the Tiki bar closed early so that access to hotel was closed early too. Per other reviews, parking is very limited. Foot rinse after Beach walk trickles water

Can we say outstanding hotel? Location was great, north of all the tourist traps area. Great beach location, felt safe. Heated pool was wonderful in December. Cute tiki bar by pool. My spacious king corner room was fabulous. Balcony with a good view of ocean and sunrise as well as street. King bed was clean and comfortable. Spotless roomy bathroom! Very good choices at breakfast. I have no complaints and can't wait to return and stay longer. Perfect spot the first of December! Lovely Christmas decor and music.

Positive: Place to sleep Negative: The lay out of the outside area (pool) is terrible. The room balcony over looked a parking lot, even though we were ocean side. They charged guest to park. To access the beach you had to walk through a parking lot.... absurd!

This hotel is near perfect. We stayed in room 606 ocean view|| I’ll start with the most important things first:|1) beds are comfortable. Pillow top, soft, but not too soft|2) hotel is clean inside and out. Room had a few cosmetic issues, but didn’t affect us|3) shower had pretty good water pressure. Adjustable head is always appreciated|4) ocean view room…. Just do it!!!! It was amazing. We slept with sliding glass doors open. Fell asleep to sounds of the waves|5) tiki bar outside by pool was great. Watched football, had a few cocktails and chicken nachos while ocean waves crashed right next to us. |6) the pool was sooo warm and clean. We swam in 65 degree weather. Pool felt 90|7) free breakfast - your standard chain hotel offering. It’s not bad for free|8) I appreciate the safe in the roo

Great location right on the Beach with a beautiful view. We we're greeted with smiles and even upgraded at check in to an ocean front view. The room is large, clean and updated. We're here on business but we'll be back again soon to take advantage of their oceanfront pool and tiki bar. Shout out to Nicholas at the front desk. Thanks for the impeccable service.
