Hampton Inn Binghamton/Johnson City

My wife and I rang in the New Year here and had a great experience. The room was clean, modern, and well maintained. Even though it was New Year’s Eve, we were pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

Room had an unbearable scent of cigarettes. As a person with asthma causes painful breathing which is dangerous. Told the front desk. Since it’s sold out no room change available. Asked for help from housekeeping and was told they are gone for the day. Went to store and bought air deodorizes which did not help. Miserable experience

Positive: Free breakfast was pretty good. Negative: Parking is NOT free. They surprise you with a $5 parking fee at check in.Towels were too small, and not absorbent.

Our experience was different then a 5 ⭐️ . The 3rd floor hall rug looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed for a month. The trash in our room had not been cleaned out. There was no shower gel. The room did not look vacuumed. It just felt dirty. So of course that made us look with doubt at the bed. It definitely was not smoothly made so how do we know if we had clean sheets or not??? It left us very unsettled. With that being said we did sleep.

Room was not cleaned well; hairs in the bathroom, lamp was full of dust, and top of chest drawers was some dust. A fitted sheet came off all the time and had a few holes. Microwave was full of dirty water and mess.
