Hampton Inn Bainbridge

I booked and prepaid my room in full on January 28th, 2026. this was part of a multi leg business trip and as such arrived at about 9pm on February 10th, 2026. Initially it took an hour to get checked in and be handed a room key. Upon entering the room I heard "hello?" from inside and realized I was given a key to a room already occupied. After notifying the front desk the room was occupied I was told the room was overbooked, partially due to them having 6 rooms out of service. After 3 hours the hotel did not find me accommodations, did not help me find alternative hotel, did not help in procuring a taxi/shuttle or other form of transportation to a room. the manager could not be bothered to come speak to me in person. Given the location there were no Ubers, Lyft or on-call taxi serv

The rooms look run down, no towels in room when we arrived, no shampoo in dispenser, told they were out of it. Windows are dirty and moldy, A/C Filter duty, had to clean it. Shower moldy around bottom. No Smoke detector, just wires, lamp on wall full of rust. Microwave doesn’t work. Refrigerator dirty on the outside. Very Disappointed. Won’t stay again.

Positive: The morning buffet was decent. There was not a large variety but enough to start the day. The fitness center is clean with basic equipment for a short workout. Location is close to other stores and restaurants. Negative: The room was dated. Poor lightning in room. The AC/ Heating unit was not adjustable in the room. The temperature was cold within the room durin our winter stay. Shower was not clean, hair and mold. Door key was inactivated frequently.

The service and the staff was impeccable. Had a room with no toilet paper and the toilet paper roll was broken on the wall curtains were broken batteries missing from remote control for the TV. Had breakfast no butter and no meat selection. I would definitely stay there again. I’m curious if they’re understaffed and the staff they do have are trying to work hard and stay positive and polite to the customers. If so, they’re doing a great job overall. Definitely a bonus that they allowed pets as well.

We arrived at the hotel after a long day of travel and were ready for rest. Unfortunately, that’s not what we got. When we got to the room, there was trash in both trash cans, the floors had not been cleaned, the toilet had poop marks, the mirror looked like it had been sprayed with cleaner and left to dry. We gave them benefit of the doubt. It was probably an innocent oversight. We simply asked for a new room. Sadly enough in the second room, the floors in the entryway and bathroom were gross and sticky and the carpets were dirty as well. By this point we were frustrated but just ready to sleep. So, we checked the towels and beds and they seemed to be clean so we just crashed out for the night. We explained our concerns to the employees at the front desk and cancelled our second nigh
