Halsted Inn & Suites Harvey - Chicago Southland

I am still waiting for a refund from June 20th 2025 in the amount of $827.52. They have decided to stop replying to emails, won’t answer the phone, and I still don’t have my money. They charged me for extra rooms for no reason then told me there was nothing they could do until they released the funds. DO NOT STAY HERE! Bed sheets weren’t clean, bloody towels in the closet, and it only gets worse. Hands down the worst place I’ve ever booked to stay and we didn’t even stay and left immediately.

Positive: Nothing! Negative: Staff was extremely unprofessional, housekeeper was upset i needed new sheets that's she didn't even have to put on. Told front desk there was a puddle of water in front of our air conditioner that never got fixed until midnight, with us in the room!

I wish I can give it no stars at all first off the room they gave me had bugs flying around everywhere. The hallways smell like piss and weed the front desk people are rude. They even said they don’t have towels. They do not clean their rooms daily they clean their rooms every five days what hotel says they don’t have towels for their guests Worst hotel I have ever been to do not I repeat do not go to this hotel they say they have breakfast that is a lie Air conditioners smell like mildew roaches in the Main lobby, workers and management are the worst I have ever experienced. They are very rude and do not care about their guest.

We paid about $130 for a double bed, once arriving they advised renovations were taking place. No breakfast would be given. We were told our room was recently renovated. The room was beyond not renovated. The ac began to leak so we used the bath towels for it. The bathroom was untouched for the renovations. One bed had a headboard the other didn’t. The location was great we had easy access to the highway and main roads. That room was not worth the price. Don’t let the pictures fool you. Call ahead to ensure a decent room.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! The pictures are wrong, the whole place is under construction. The room was not finished. We refused to stay and they refused our refund! Over 200$ for one night in an awful hotel with awful customer service!
