Hacienda Motel

Can not say that the stay was all that. The Management changed overnight. I do not trust the integrity of the Person whom is now in charge. There is no order and I personally do not feel as if he is the right fit to manage The Hacienda. When we got into town the Young lady was Professional and Available, Strict yet Sincere. She was Prompt and Trustworthy. She understands Boundaries. The New Person in charge whom lives in the premises was misleading and Untrustworthy. There's more to Managing a Motel then Meets the Eye. I hope that this is a Temporary Solution and that Things go back to Normal. Because when you are paying a business for services and the employee says " I can just pocket this and nobody would ever know." And have to depend on this same person making discretion calls in behal

Photos are too good & clean to be update! Old, filthy rooms with old, hair embedded sheets & bedding, broken down furniture, rude management, furnaces leak carbon monoxide, most residents long term & not law abiding. Owner has No Refund policy, pay in advance of course. Locals pay higher rates than out of towners. If you're really desperate, like the action of cops coming & going or people fighting, 1 night should be 1 night too many..

This was a great find back in 1995 and I have been coming back ever since. 2 have been coming back ever since. 2 visits have been on birthdays "just because". The owner was always super accomidating. The guy managing it is the same way and both are always friendly. You can expect a quaint motel on the edge of town. A clean room. And its neat a d tidy outside. I wouldn't change a thing except for the size of the room a larger air conditioner, but I like my sleeping conditions "polar bear cold". You cant beat the service and the price. Yes, I am coming back!

I have worked contracts in Deming for 13 week periods for over three yrs. Always find the long stay rooms very convenient and comfortable. there was Sense of community amongst the other long stay guests. My unit had a small kitchenette in which I was able to prepare some home cooking. I worked nights and Mgmt were very understanding whilst doing yard and maintenance making efforts to work around my schedule. DUST, well I lived in NM for a long time and in the southwest when the winds blow, there is nothing that stops the dust, easy fix. As a long stay guest it was my home and I treated it as such. Price and helpfulness of Rob the management cannot be beaten in Deming that I know.

If you can avoid it, then do. It's run down, over priced & on the east end of town where there really isn't much to do; especially if you don't have personal transportation. There are better "motels" on the west side of Deming for cheaper, that actually offer clean sheets, & towels, & toiletries.
