Gulfcoast Inn Naples

I had a great stay at Gulfcoast Inn in Naples, Florida! This place is a hidden gem—clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. The rooms were well-maintained and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The pool area was a highlight—peaceful, tropical, and very inviting after a long day out. I especially loved the in-house restaurant—being able to order lunch and enjoy it poolside was such a nice touch and really added to the overall experience. We have been here before. It is just as nice. Remember what you are getting. This is NOT a luxury hotel. It is a family run “beach” hotel without the beach. ||It is in Naples and right on 41. It has three awesome restaurants on property. Harold’s which is a poolside bar. Vesuvius which is amazing fresh made pizzas and calzones and then Fujiyama which is a hibachi style steak house. All are excellent. ||The rooms are exceptionally clean and staff is often seen sweeping the outside areas and keeping the breakfast area hot and ready either yogurt, waffles, bagels and cereal. Our room has an apartment sized frig and microwave and was right off the pool. yes it can get loud on Saturday by the pool as people drink at the bar and kids swim in the pool. But it is quiet and safe

Positive: Pool area was great! The in house restaurants were great also! Negative: The continental breakfast included apples, a couple cereal choices, yogurt, juices, milk, toast, bagels, and waffles. Kind of minimal...

I stayed for business for two nights. The biggest problem was the elevator is not working. Which normally that wouldn't be a big deal but since I was working I had to carry 30 lb tubs up three flights of stairs. The staff told us the elevator has not worked since September! The hotel is old and in need of maintenance. I bet it was a beauty in its day but that day is over. The floors in my room were dirty. Ground in dirt. Lights had an electrical short. Fridge was moldy and old. No breakfast. I wouldn't stay there again.

This review is about management and lack of communication with the front desk. I booked a room specifically for my daughter and I to have a girls trip. I’m familiar with Harold’s and the pool and that was why I chose this place. Called the front desk to book. No mention of the pool closure. I would have gone somewhere else, it is Florida. Spoke to the front desk asked why I wasn’t told of this pre planned closure. Only an apology. Left message with the manager. No call back. Sent email, no response. I could and should have. Gone to the Cove Inn. So much for a girls pool day 😔
