Guest House Bed & Breakfast

My daughter and I were in Grinnell recently for the state swim meet, and we were fortunate in being able to stay in the proprietors' home. Our room and private bath were very comfortable, clean, and homey. The Becks were flexible and accommodating and wonderful hosts. Donna even made us a homemade breakfast before we left for the pool at 6:30 am! I would highly recommend staying with them for sporting events, graduation, etc. They are slightly out of town, but my drive to the college was less than 10 minutes. I would absolutely stay here again. It was a fabulous experience!

We stayed three nights while visiting family in Grinnell and found this B&B wonderful! Most rooms are in the beautiful older house pictured on the website, but we stayed in a bedroom with its own bath in the proprietors' home 50 m away. Room was great and incredibly quiet due to the B&B location in the country a few miles from town. For one dinner we brought a picnic to the shore of their lovely pond and had an incredibly peaceful time. Proprietors were absolutely delightful--helpful, warm and friendly. We would definitely like to stay here again.

The owners of this place are very friendly and nice. It's more of an Airbnb type of stay though instead of a B&B. We stayed in the basement of their house, which was the overflow room from the main building. This isn't a bad thing - it was a huge area - it's more just awareness of what you're booking.
