Guadalupe River RV Park & Campgrounds

This RV park is subpar. As you pull in to the park, directly adjacent to the office on the right looks to be a bunch of broken down vehicles and cluttered junk. As you you begin to look around you notice the slew of older run down RVs allowed to park here. Some looked as if they were on their last leg while others had junk cluttered around it. The space we rented was fairly level and against the Guadalupe River. Our space was hard to locate because they were not numbered correctly or not at all. Make sure you arrive before the office closes and in the daytime so the staff can point out the space for you. When we finally parked we noticed that the sewer hookup was located beneath our slideout. People allow their dogs to bark at all hours of the night and roam loose off the leash. This place

I came to the Guadalupe River RV Park & Campgrounds in November of 2024, expecting only to stay a week or too. I fell so in love with the staff, residents and beautiful nature surrounding me that I stayed. Shauna and Rodney work their tails off for the park and are always looking for ways to improve it. This is a community of like minded people who enjoy the RV lifestyle and enjoying nature. We all look out for one another. Everything you need from laundry to showers to great location in the heart of Spring Branch. Go check it out.

Park was average. After reading reviews beforehand it was about what I expected. Access to water is nice. You do have to go down a hill to get to it but it’s not as bad as some say. I do agree there are a lot of long term people staying and a lot of the rvs are worse for wear. I did get the junkyard feel. Might help clearing some of those out and changing to short term only with a few long term. All hookups worked great no issues there. And lot sizes were good. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The place is very nice and pleasant. I personally like campsite 13 because I think it is the most beautiful one. Had many good times at this place. Bathrooms are nice and well-kept and there is an office at the front that sells propane, ice, snacks, firewood, charcoal, fishing equipment, etc. The river is the main attraction however, absolutely stunning with some massive tree's growing from it. They have a rope swing towards tent site 15 or 17 that's always fun. Place is about 15min away from a Walmart in case you forgot anything and is an all-around great and peaceful location. Highly recommended.

WARNING!!! DANGER!! We were at the ER due to the lack of maintaining a reasonable access to the river! They are steep! The main one does not have leveled rocks nor a rail to grab on to. This place needs a sign stating use at your own risk! Their site’s advertisement as it states : several access to the river! It is so steep that you slip back as did one of the members I went with. He fell hitting several large rocks due to their mismanaging of their posted amenity. This is grounds for a lawsuit. I spoke to the Constable as he said he too is aware of the difficult access! This RV advertises several access area to the river. There are two which are not maintained by the camping ground.
