Green Valley Motor Lodge

This place is a hidden gem that we discovered exploring possibilities for a remote family vacation. Finally, an old school motel in which you can have privacy from the rest of the world!! The Internet is a hair slow, that is the only negative, but Wi-Fi did work and was free. However, the beautiful remote surroundings makes for an experience where technology just doesn't seem to matter. Family enjoyed the small privately owned motel so much we stayed for a week for HALF of the cost of the week at the Hilton Garden. Was delighted to find a hotel that doesn't demand deposits for "incidentals," or hold for rooms with ids and credit cards. Straight forward pricing with no hidden extras. The place was dirty with dirty sheets. Absolutely no one was on property to question when we returned and it was very unsafe. We felt so uncomfortable with the dirtiness and isolation we left and paid for another place.

Checked in at 5pm on Saturday no one onsite had to call to find out where to get our key. Had to call the same guy Sunday to get the “checkout” procedure. My “clean” towel had someone’s black hairs all in it. The place smelled and was full of Asian beetles. Do not recommend

Stuffy rooms. Curtain was messed up and wouldn’t close. No one was here when we got here and we had to call and they told us the room number and the key was under the mat. They advertise free coffee in the lobby but there was none and the office was locked. I called and they said no one would be there until 2:00 today. I get that this is an inexpensive hotel but don’t advertise free coffee and then not have it. 0/10. Rooms are outdated, barely any outlets and dusty.
