My family and I LOVE the Great Wolf Lodge in CT. Seriously is our happy place :) we have 3 children ages 9 to 3 and they had mega fun at this place. We first went November 2025 and we came back 2 nights ago. We booked straight from the app and we had the breakfast package included. We got the basic room which was plenty for us. 2 queen bed and a sofa bed PERFECT. Both stays that we had the rooms where super clean and smelled amazing. We always stayed at the 8th floor and kids love it because we get the Casino view ! So pretty!!! The hotel is crowded with kids and that does not bother us at all ! The breakfast is amazing so many yummy food and we also have the dinner buffet too everything DELICIOUS! All the employees were fantastic and everyone very polite with us and the kids around. Water
We recently stayed at the new Great Wolf Lodge in Connecticut, and it was such a positive experience for our family. One of the biggest highlights was how convenient everything is. The layout made it easy for the kids to have some independence — they could safely go up and down from our hotel room to the arcade, waterpark, ropes course, mini golf, and bowling without us having to leave the property. As a parent, that level of freedom (within a contained environment) is priceless. Another thing that stood out was how well maintained everything was. The grounds were kept very clean, and I consistently noticed employees emptying and cleaning garbage cans — they were never overflowing. It felt organized and well managed, even with a lot of families on-site. We were there during a blizzard,
Great Wolf Lodge is a nice indoor water park with other onsite activities. All of the other activities cost additional money. Also, the food here is very expensive and costs mount up very quickly. One example: in the grab and go food market, a small bottle of juice cost $7.00 plus tax! On site parking is expensive. The buffet for breakfast was $26.00 per person but was not very good. If you stay over during a school vacation, it is very crowded, and the lines are extremely long for the bigger slides, an hour or more. Seating can be hard to find in the water park to leave your belongings. Lockers are very expensive. Our family reserved the Geyser suite which had one king bedroom and a second room with two sets of bunk beds. The bunk beds were very narrow and uncomfortable for older child
My husband and I vow not to return. The place is PACKED with so many people it's not enjoyable. They have one employee working the activity stations and stores, knowing they have tons of families who will be there paying a lot of money to do these activities. The passes are so confusing and we spent a great deal of time trying to figure out how to use them. Our kids weren't tall enough to do the attraction they wanted to do the most but we had alrwady paid for it prior with the wolf pass not knowing there was a height minimum. The water park is way overcrowded and there is one teenage lifeguard at each pool for a TONs of people/mostly children swimming in overcrowded pools/attractions. We heard a baby crying all night and kids running through the halls so we barely slept. Theres not cream
We had a great visit at Great Wolf, CT! This was our first stay at this location and we'll absolutely be back! We stayed mid-week, and our room was ready when we checked in around 2pm! Rooms were immaculate and comfortable. I do wish the bathroom lights would stay on all night (theyre on a motion sensor and turn off after about 30 min) but we were able to get a dark-screened ASMR video to play on YouTube that was the perfect brightness. The little details in the room were so cute, like the bedside lights that were styled like mason jars full of fireflies (but WOWZA were they bright!) The breakfast buffet was awesome and totally worth the money! Convenient to have the little market open 24/7 stocked with all the necessities. The ambiance of the adventure park is unparalleled, with the lit "
