Grand Pequot Tower at Foxwoods

We stayed at Grand Pequot for an overnight during Super Bowl weekend and opted for a late check out the following day. Front desk staff was courteous and welcoming. Our room was ready upon arrival. We had a K accessible room. The room was spacious but dated. The carpet was stained and the leather chair had cracked and peeling leather on the front. The bathroom was spacious and easily fit a wheelchair under the sink. But the lighting above the sink was dim. The pool area had ample chairs, tables and towels. Overall our stay was good, but our room could have definitely used a refresh.

Have been to Foxwoods before, previously stayed in The Fox Tower. Decided to try the Grand Pequot Tower this time to change things up. I didn't notice a huge difference between the two. The room is spacious and clean. It's neither dated nor freshly renovated. Bathroom was really big with lots of counter space which I loved. Hot water in shower took a while to get extra hot but eventually did, water pressure medium. I asked for an extra pillow and towels and they were brought up quickly which I always appreciate. Would stay again if I were going to Foxwoods, although prices have gone up quite a bit and it seems harder now to book the AAA rate online since they changed the booking system. I always liked Foxwoods over Mohegan for booking because they made it easy to get the AAA rate. Overall

My family took an impromptu trip to the Grand Pequot hotel, and have never been so regretful of a trip in my life. First, when making the reservation, I specifically asked about the pool since we are traveling with a child. I was not told until AFTER being charged that the pool only allowed children from 8am-1pm. Not a deal breaker, but you would think if a guest is specifically asking about the pool for their child, you would be given this information prior to booking. The worst part was that upon checkout, I told the associate that I was considering another trip next week, but only if there were rooms that had better beds. Stayed in the big corner suit. It wasn't great but I love foxwoods. Idc if no one else likes it, I do. I will be going back. However, the supposed best and most expensive room has old, cheap furniture. Its was dusty, with actual dust. Stiff sheets. Not really decorated either. And to add to my bad experience, there was no prestocked bar, And the room had a bar! Not worth the money even on a Monday.
