Great Smokies Inn

Sophie and Maria and Clint were amazing. Truly helpful staff, lobby was kept very nice and decorated beautifully with Christmas decorations. Rooms are also kept up, even the bathroom was surprisingly clean, floors are carpet but not nasty. Grounds are kept nice and kept up. They also do have a pool but we obviously couldn't try that out due to being here in December. |We really enjoyed are stay and will definitely be back really soon. We thank the Staff of Great Smokie Inn for the welcoming atmosphere.

We had a great experience here after a very stressful travel hiccup. Our return from a show at the casino to Gatlinburg was unexpectedly interrupted due to the mountain being closed late at night, and Great Smokies Inn was able to accommodate a last-minute reservation without hesitation. The woman who helped us was incredibly kind — exactly what we needed after a long night. The room itself was nicely updated and exceptionally clean. The bed and pillows were surprisingly comfortable, making it easy to relax and finally get some much-needed rest. We were so grateful for the hospitality and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend, especially if you value cleanliness, comfort, and genuinely caring staff.

Positive: Location was great. Negative: No coin machine for the laundry and desk didn’t have any quarters. It was Sunday and no banks open. We had to drive to a neighboring town for a laundromat.

We checked in yesterday and I have been surprised by the appearance and cleanliness of the facility. The room is very nice and clean. Everything is in order. One thing i really like about the room is its accessibility to parking. The car is literally outside the room. No struggles in getting the luggage to the room. The bed is so comfortable. You melt right in. It's comparable to a Best Western. I feel safe and it's quite. I would like it even better if they offered free continental breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.

Loved the location, the rooms and bathrooms were clean, the beds comfortable, the rooms dark for sleeping. In my opinion the price was maybe just a bit high, but can't complain overall. Wonderful spot to drop / grab a rest day if you're coming off the trail like I was. They also have laundry on site.
