I stayed at Grayland Beach mid September... the campground is super clean, well maintained... MILES better than Twin Harbors up the street. The only downside was someone absolutely destroyed one of the bathrooms and it was like that for a while. Fun fact - Grayland Beach State Park is right over the county line, so even though Grays Harbor County is under burn ban, Pacific County is not. Grayland Beach was the only stop on my 6 day tour of the coast that allowed wood fires (They conveniently sell wood at the Ranger station)
Hands down my FAVORITE joint to pop on by for a quick shower (at least, until 10:00 PM). The peeps running this state park know what's up.
Decent camp spots that are not stcked on top of each other.
