I had a great beach getaway! The location was absolutely perfect — not far from the beach and ideally situated for crabbing and clam digging. It was great being able to head out in the morning with my gear and come back with a fresh catch. The area is peaceful, beautiful, and feels like a true coastal escape. Whether you’re there for the seafood harvest, just to relax by the waves, or enjoy the fire pit and amazing hot tub, it’s a fantastic spot to unwind and enjoy everything the beach has to offer.
Wonderful place. Great room...my first time seeing a fog rainbow. A wonderful weekend get away with husband and dogs. The beach yielded much needed space for us and the dogs.
We had a fantastic stay for our 20 year anniversary. The bed was so comfy, and that's one of the most important things for me. The small kitchen was perfect for all our needs and the hot tub was very relaxing on a super cold and rainy night in February! The beach is only a short drive if the property beach access isnt accessible. Make sure you are prepared for beach driving, the sand can be really soft at most drive on beach accesses in the area. Half Moon Bay or Westport Lighthouse State Park are great alternatives for walk on beach access.
Great option for a WA coast stay. Renovated motel room block on a property with a number of accommodation options including standalone cottages. Motel block is off the road toward the ocean and was private and quiet. Remote check in/out via text was super easy. Fun maritime themed room kitted out with coffee maker and basic kitchen facilities. Didn’t get to use the hot tub or pickleball court but would like to come back with the family to do so!
Our second stay at Breakwater Resort. The communication with the team here began within a day of booking. That communication continued throughout the 2 months leading up to and during our stay. The property is set back about a 5 minute walk from the beach and is well kept. Even during the off and on rain the property was being mowed and cleaned. The rooms are cozy and all the amenities one could ask for. With the kitchen set up including a refrigerator, range, microwave, and pits/pans/and dishes it makes for.some money saving advantage from dinning out. 10 minutes from downtown Westport 15 minutes from Tokeland, and 30 minutes from Raymond there is plenty to do if exploring local communities is your thing. As to the local nightlife, I recommend Knotty Pine in Westport. They have a nice
