Grandma Lala's Bed & Breakfast

This B&B is top notch and the hosts are even better! Very comfortable and feels like home. This amazing home also comes with some of our Peterson family history and that made this particular visit to Alliance extra special! We give this B&B a 10/10 and highly recommend!

Starla and Bart have created a beautiful, spacious yet cozy, home away from home. This sacred space allows guests the opportunity to relax, renew, mediate, heal, reflect, celebrate and more. The breakfasts are home cooked and delicious. Located a short plane trip from Denver,Colorado this is destination setting to be explored and thoroughly enjoyed! We would love to return.

We recently were in Alliance and stayed at Grandma Lala's Bed & Breakfast. The house is located just north of downtown in a very well-maintained neighborhood. When we arrived at the house, we both commented on how beautiful the exterior was. The interior didn't disappoint either--quite charming. The room that we stayed in was spacious with its own bathroom, and a shared balcony. The bed was comfortable and we both got an excellent night of sleep. The next morning we had a delicious breakfast. The best part of our stay was definitely the hosts--Bart and Starla were excellent hosts. We enjoyed talking with them during and after breakfast. We will definitely stay here again if we are back in the Alliance area.

I stayed at Grandma Lala's B and B for almost two weeks during my stay in Alliance. Grandma Lala (Starla) and Bart were wonderful hosts, and I enjoyed staying with them. I had never lodged at a B and B for an extended time period before, but I would do it again in a heartbeat if it is Grandma Lala's. The home has four rooms (I think four) for guests, and all the rooms throughout the home are nicely decorated. The hospitality of the hosts, though, is what made this such a wonderful experience. If you are ever in Alliance, I urge you to strongly consider staying here -- right in a residential neighborhood.

We made a special side trip to see Carhenge, and were a bit worried about where to stay. Then we found Grandma Lala's on Tripadvisor and took a chance staying there. What a wonderful surprise. A charming, comfortable, inn with great wi-fi, good breakfast, quiet and friendly is simply not what you might expect in this railroad hub. (No train noise whatsoever, by the way.) Starla and Bart were great in offering help with luggage, recommendations on where to go to eat and visit. The house is not a historical gem, but the hosts have created a historical gem inside. Starla clearly had fun decorating this place with personal treasures as well as interesting artifacts. Terrific place.
