Grand Vista Hotel and Suites

My husband is staying until his job is complete in the area. I left after a couple days this morning for my work at home. I can honestly say it’s a Treasure with a Mountain View that’s stunning! The hotel / area is so quiet, beyond clean, and undoubtedly ran professionally with kind management and staff! Kimber

Positive: "" Negative: This motel has seriously deteriorated. New flooring doesn’t make up for hair on shower wall, cheap towels and toiletries, a filthy pool, scant breakfast offering, and one disinterested staff person hiding in a room behind the desk. Creepy.

I'm from NC down here to view a house and decided to get some rest before I take the 6+ hour drive home. After calling a couple places I was attracted to this place for the $89 price. I wasn't looking for something over the top just a decent lil room to lay my head for the night and not leave with bedbugs. Well this place actually is really nice and clean so I was very happy! My only small issue is I was actually charged $101 instead of what was stated twice at $89. Not a big deal but that $12 could be the difference in being able to afford a room to someone else....so it would be nice if it was what was agreed upon. Idk maybe TN has some special tax on hotels or something but where I'm from tax on $89 would of been $3,4, maybe $5 at most. Again not a huge deal just a bit confusing. The ro

Ill go so far to say the most comfortable, clean, and omg the kindest people you'll meet. But STOP the view? Breathtaking.. Last nite it was so quiet outside it freaked me out. If u live in a half way busy city its life changing to sit outside an just lose yourself to just simple. .. I cant say enough!

I was surprised to find a hotel in Vonore but the photos looked good so I booked it. It was really off the road and when I arrived the parking lot was almost empty. If there hadn't been a lighted open sign in the window, I'm not sure I would have stopped. I could tell the outside looked dated but newly painted. I went into the lobby which was large and also looked newly painted. I don't mean that day, but recently, maybe within the year. There was a man behind the desk who ran my credit card and told me there was a breakfast in the morning. "It's not hot," he told me. "The only thing hot is the coffee."
