Citico Creek Wilderness

Great place camp but getting there is very rough road has potholes everywhere. Some places on road is very narrow can't pass other vehicles. Seen a truck slide off road almost rolled into creek

The area was fantastic with great campgrounds and a well maintained road

First off, Cleve couldn't be a nicer man! On top of his kind nature, he is highly informative. And he should be, he has a very special and large plot of land with several rare species of animals just roaming freely! Now I don't want to give too much away but just know, unless you've been on safari in Africa or the like, you haven't been privy to such wildlife in this type of surrounding. This is one man's labor of love and it shows. I highly recommend it to all!

Awesome place. As with any wilderness area some of it has been vandalized and occasionally you'll find trash. Camp site 9 is a sweet spot. Close to the water, open and flat. Spend as much time as you can in this entire forest, it's good for your soul
