Grand Prix Hotel

The bathroom. The shower had a sliding glass door which was only connected at the top and would swing. One side of the door would not move at all. I was terrified the glass door was going to fall off while I was in the shower. Directly above the shower head was a gaping hole in the ceiling. The light in the bathroom was broken on both ends. The first night I went into the restroom there were roaches in the sink. German roaches. Where there is 1, there are 1,000. I told the woman at the desk that we were going to stay a few days and we did. She promised me a certain rate and then reneged on it. We checked out a couple of days later and she was angry making comments that I told her we were going to stay a few days. We did!! She promised me the rate of $120 a night when an event was happening

Positive: Right on the ocean. The pool area was very nice and clean. Negative: Room wasn?t clean. Poor water flow in bathroom,toilet ran constantly and AC wasn?t maintainined. Holes in the walls. Clumps of paint on the walls. Stained towel. At night cockroaches came through the back door. Room smelled of smoke.

Had a great time with my teenage son. We travel with a surf board. the motel was perfect. Every room on the second floor had a view of the ocean. No busy streets to walk across. I love being able to swim, 45 seconds later you're in your room! the whole place was a family within the handsome family that runs the place. The handyman lived across the parking lot from me in an upper. "Paul" comes from Michigan for lengthy stays; he's fun. The daughter gently scolded me for bringing a hotel deck chair down to the beach. I had it coming to me! the whole place was fun.

I booked through booking.com. Arrived late at the property. Gave the 50 dollar cash deposit and when I filled out the paper it asked how many guests I wrote that there were 3 of us. He told me it was an extra fee+tax for my daughter and then said just give me 20 bucks and we are good. What?! Told me check out is 10am. BUT he would upgrade my room to ocean view. Idgaf about the ocean view I’m here to sleep. I got to my room and there were roaches everywhere. Do not stay here. Ot also smells weird.

I would recommend running, not walking, away from this place. My husband and son ended up in two rooms. Upon check in the first room had part of the ceiling coming off in the shower. There was also a very large patch of mold near that and a large hole around where the showerhead came out of the wall. When they went to the desk to get moved someone was there complaining about brown water coming out of their faucet. They should have left then. They were moved to another room. There was some mold around the shower window and some brown spots on the ceiling in the bathroom. The next morning my son was suspicious of the brown spots and moved the dresser to check for bugs. What he found was rodent poop. My son said that when opening the vanity door there was the odor of rodent urine and that h
