Grand Inn

This hotel was essentially what you'd a hotel to look like when there are people who live in it. The area was quiet and it was pretty close to Disneyland (which is the best part). It was about 15 minutes both directions. I didn't like how dirty this hotel was. I felt completely uncomfortable walking barefoot in my hotel room and there was no controls for the AC/Heater so you are at the will of the property owners. The WiFi was really spotty and unstable and the TV's are broken. There is no vent in the restroom so if you take a single hot shower the whole room will be stuffy until you open a window. I don't feel like this hotel was worth the price. There are closer and better options to Disneyland if that's where you are staying, even at similar price points.

Positive: room size Negative: The front desk people asked for my card pin when I paid and wrote down my security code. I found that sketchy so I requested a replacement card from my bank after our stay.

This is possibly the worst hotel experience for me in the United States. Check in was unpleasant. Instead of a welcome, I was greeted by a stern face surrounded by signs listing all the regulations, 'Do Nots' and advising a security charge deposit.|The building itself is awkward, with a single access not from the lobby, but through a security door in the rear. The corridor carpeting was worn, and filthy with stains. |The room was large, but unsuitable. The only lighting was a table lamp on one side of the bed, and a floor lamp on the other side of the bed. The rest of the room had no lighting at all. I had to use a flashlight to unpack, and to use my laptop. The bathroom had a pedestal sink and a tiny wall shelf, approximately five inches by twelve inches, meaning minimal storage.

The fridge has black moss everywhere on the inside door and cabinets. The room and hallway has a strong smell or scent thats definetely not pleasing. There’s also a lot of ded bugs and spiders on the ground in bathroom and has a lot of cracks. That’s probably where couple roaches came in when I found them roaming around in the morning. We had no food but they were still crawling on the ground. Beats me if there was bed bugs. I slept wearing overall because I couldn’t trust the cleanliness of the bed. Also the bed springs are all worn out and one side of the bed was caving in a lot compared to other side. There’s no ac in the room and only option is to open the window. You get what you pay for. Location is good though.

Great front counter help; friendly and informative. Housekeeping is extremely attentive, quick with any request. Perfect Inn for budget minded individuals. Rooms are clean, complementary coffee in the mornings is hot, A/C is cold, towels are clean, pool is inviting. A perfect stay with a more than affordable rate.
