This is a repeat stay at Grand Hyatt, this time after hotel renovations, which notably improves the overall experience. The new room look, with a mid-century modern design feel is a perfect fit for the greater Palm Springs area. Dining options have improved as well, though breakfast can feel hectic at moments at high occupancy. Hy Tides is as fun as before, though, better pool area concessions and warmer water in the pools would be appreciated, particularly in December. Spa was enjoyable and fitness room was well equipped, as would be expected. Definitely coming back!
The Grand Hyatt Palm Desert is an outstanding resort that truly delivers a luxury experience with a fun, relaxed desert vibe. From the moment you arrive, the property feels expansive, beautifully designed, and impeccably maintained, making it easy to settle in and enjoy your stay. One of the biggest highlights is the massive pool area, which is perfect for both families and adults. The lazy river is a standout feature—peaceful, scenic, and a great way to unwind while floating through the resort. The water slide is incredible and adds a fun, resort-style excitement that makes the pool area feel more like a destination than just an amenity. There’s plenty of space to lounge, well-appointed cabanas, and attentive poolside service that makes spending the day outside effortless. The rooms are
Just returned from an incredible stay with my extended family at this gorgeous resort. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, the many pools, jacuzzis, water slides, and lazy river were awesome (and nicely heated even in low 60s February weather), the extensive breakfast buffet at Tia Carmen was delicious, and the grounds and surrounding 360 degree mountain views were spectacular (pics are from an early morning jog around the golf course). However, we were most impressed with the service. Everyone was especially friendly, efficient, and accommodating, but we wanted to give particular recognition to Tristan and Alexa at the front desk, and to Martha at Tia Carmen. They were so lovely and made our stay a truly special and memorable one. Many thanks!!
Positive: The room was clean and upkeep of surrounding property was outstanding. The pool area was exceptional. The kids loved it. Negative: There was no easy chair in the room. The menu at the restaurant was quite limited.
Fantastic place for a weekend getaway! I accompanied my partner who was attending a conference there and it was great for rest & relaxation. They have amazing pools, hot tubs, and plentiful onsite dining or grab and go food options. They even have a waterslide! You can check out bikes, participate in activities during the day, and float in the pool and watch movies at night. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Service was top notch.
