This review is about the promotional tour and sales tactics used by BGV. The actual property is beautiful. I signed up for a promotional tour in exchange for a discounted rate. What was supposed to be a 90min tour ended up being over 3 hours. The sales guy Brent lied out of his teeth for 3 hours straight. It was one of the corniest and most deceiving pitches i've ever heard. He must've thought we were total amateurs and extremely naive. As soon as he said "owning fractional real estate is an appreciating asset", he lost all credibility. They want $40k for a studio, biannual, off peak week... the same unit can be bought on the secondary market for under $5k. The APR quoted on the sheet is 16% LOL. People are desperate to get out of these because of rising HOA fees that they are selling th

DON’T RECOMMEND- look elsewhere. This hotel seems newer compared to many places in Breck, and the property is very nice with friendly staff. But I feel so fooled as they advertise like a luxury 5 star resort and charge $600+/night, but it falls short in several important areas. A 10:00 AM checkout is unreasonable. I’ve stayed at resorts nationwide and internationally, and the earliest standard checkout is usually 11:00 AM or noon. When I asked to extend checkout to 11:00, I was told it would cost an additional $50. There is also no room service and no complimentary bottled water, which is surprising at this level. Also, our room didn’t have a shower curtain, and when one was brought up, it wasn’t installed — we had to do it ourselves! The kitchenette lacked basic utensils, and although th

Very nice hotel. Room was nicely updated. Very clean. Nice amenities in the hotel including multiple pools and hot tubs. Private movie theaters. Coffee shop. Almost ski-in/ski-out (no ski concierge which was disappointing, but they give you a locker to store your stuff and you walk right out to the plaza and are right at the chair lifts).|Also, seems this is largely a time-share type property, so you don't have all the services of a full hotel - such as there is no bellman, so you have to lug all your luggage yourself across multiple buildings to get to your room.|Gondola stops right at the hotel which is nice to get to the town, but unfortunately it stops running at 5pm for some reason, but they have free shuttles after hours.|Overall, very nice stay, we would stay here again if ret

This is our first time here, but right from the start I can tell it's been a great pick. We've never been to Breckenridge and I looked at a lot of resorts and finally settled on this one. Great choice! The location is excellent, the rooms are renovated and inviting with working fire places (I picked a one bedroom apartment that can sleep up to 4), and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Plus there are no mandatory valet fees unlike Wyndham. I really like this place so far. I'll post an update at the end of our stay. Update: (after checkout) This place truly is amazing. We enjoyed the indoor/outdoor pull even with temperatures outside in the 30s. We enjoyed the hot tub outside. We were able to watch movies in their nice theaters (they have 5 of them) and enjoyed the restaurant they have

Overall, the location is nice, and the accommodations are nice. They mostly bank on sitting at the base of the mountain and charging a premium for it. They are supposed to be a fractional ownership style condo, but every activity outside of the pool or theater comes at a price. I've stayed in several of these style places over the years, looking for the perfect fit for our family, and most of the places we have stayed within the same caliber take the time to provide the little details that make you feel like home with the elevated experience, like warm, fresh cookies and hot chocolate bars, and activities that are all included in the stay. This place definitely felt like an overpriced hotel. The rooms were beautiful and well kept, albeit they were sparsely stocked in terms of items needed
