Grand Canyon Motel

Complete trash...Google should really update their rating system to allow zero stars. Outside smelled heavily like urine, dirty bathroom, ok room. I travel around the country multiple times a year, using both Expedia and Airbnb for booking stays and I have NEVER had a crap experience like I have with this place. I reserved a room for 11/7 and 11/8 for my son and I. Checked in on 11/7 at around 4:30pm, unloaded, made a couple of calls and looked for a place to eat. Finished with dinner around 6:30pm, came back l to the room and promptly booked the Quality Inn in Kanab at 7:20pm (for the same days AND same price). After getting back from dinner, I went to take a shower, turning on the hot water and nothing came out. Noticed there was a shutoff valve behind the showerhead, so a 1/4 turn and w

Fredonia is a fun place to say you stayed. Furniture and doors are outdated but you go for the charm of the place. If you like the old stops on the side of the highway places and not corporate ran chain this is a great place.

It was dusty, not clean, mold in the shower. A shower without light and a black curtain. Water was really cold or boiling! Bed was comfy, and the pillow was nice for my back. The room itself was cranky and need a upgrade!🫣

So this ain't the Ritz, but it is a quaint and charming little property. The buildings are old but have character. I think the bad reviews are from fancy stuck up types, maybe you should go to your nearest hilton resort. 5 stars this place was awesome.

It was a fun trip back in time. The bed was good, shower was hot and the price was reasonable. It was better than the Days Inn in Kanab. Cleaner too. I’d stay here again.
